Painting in the Burren

With the onset of fine weather last week I managed to get some outdoor painting in.One day was spent in Kinvara, one of my favourite places to paint .I have painted the famous “Hookers”many times , always a pleasure to capture those red sails, but on this occasion I approached from the Galway side , because the view as I turn the bend approaching Kinvara always astounds me. The blue/purple of the Burren hills in the distance and Dunguire on the left as the bay opens up to reveal the Atlantic.I know I will paint this many times as the light and the time of day changes.
